Adoption processAdoption fees vary based on species and age. A table of the different adoption fees can be found at http://www.whitmanpets.org/adopt/ For adopter's that rent: We require a lease and verbal Landlord approval prior to adoption. All adopters must fill out an adoption questionnaire. Once filled out, adopters will sit down with an adoption counselor to have an adoption consultation/conversation. Once approved, animals typically can go home same day. All adoptions are done on first come, first serve, first approved basis. Adopters must be 18 years and older.Shelter locationAnimals are available to view Monday - Wednesday, Friday & Saturdays, 1-6pm. (Closed Thursdays and Sundays). Adoptions times are 1-5:30pm during business hours.
